Gooey Chunky Monkey Protein Cookies

Measurement Style:


– 73g light butter
– 1 egg
– 50g light brown sugar
– 150g all purpose flour
– 100g vanilla whey
– 1 ripe mashed banana
– 80g chocolate chips
– 5g peanut powder
– Stevia/Splenda to taste

*Note: When baking with protein powder, we recommend staying away from pure isolate powder as that does not bake well (turns recipes to a cardboard texture). Whey/Casein blends usually work best for baking — our favorite is Devotion Nutrition brand. Using another brand of protein powder may result in slightly different macros.


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, melt butter in microwave until warm (not too hot).
  3. Mix in brown sugar, mashed banana, and egg.
  4. Add all other ingredients except for chocolate chips until dough consistency is reached.
  5. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Place parchment paper on cookie sheet and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  7. Scoop 10 cookies onto cookie sheet (may have to use two separate cookie sheets) and bake for about 10 minutes. All ovens may bake differently, so keep an eye on the cookies as they bake; they are best when slightly gooey in the center which you can test with a toothpick for doneness. Enjoy!
