– 150g vanilla whey
– 80g coconut flour
– 1 mashed banana
– 110g light butter
– 224g fat free cream cheese
– 2 eggs
– 35g black cocoa powder (you can buy on Amazon)

– 10 oreos, crushed
– ½ tsp baking powder

*Note: When baking with protein powder, we recommend staying away from pure isolate powder because it can create a cardboard texture. Whey/Casein blends usually work best for baking — our favorite is the Devotion Nutrition brand. If you are interested in trying Devotion Nutrition, use “AVATAR” at checkout and save 10%.

Using another brand of protein powder may result in slightly different macros. Click here to get expert tips on baking with other types of protein powder in our free online guide.

Instructions

  1. Let cream cheese sit out for 30 minutes to soften, then preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, melt butter until warm (not too hot) and mix in mashed bananas and cream cheese.
  3. Mix in eggs, whey, coconut flour, baking powder, and Stevia/Splenda to taste. Add water until brownie batter consistency is reached.
  4. Place half of the batter in a separate mixing bowl and add black cocoa powder. Add water until cake batter consistency is reached.
  5. Place dark batter back into the light batter bowl. Add candy bar pieces and oreos and mix until two batters are not completely mixed but have a marbled effect.
  6. Place batter into a greased 9×9” brownie pan and bake for 35-45 minutes until you can stick a toothpick in and it comes out clean.
  7. Cut into 16 squares and enjoy! Feel free to top with protein “icing” (protein powder + a little stevia + almond milk to icing consistency).
