Ingredients

– 50g mashed banana (extra ripe is best)
– 60g vanilla whey
– 45g all-purpose flour
– 1 egg
– 40g Greek yogurt
– cinnamon to taste
– Stevia/Splenda to taste
– 0 calorie spray butter
– 1/4 tsp baking powder

*Note: When baking with protein powder, we recommend staying away from pure isolate powder because it can create a cardboard texture. Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Combine all ingredients including 1 tbsp cinnamon and Stevia/Splenda to taste (do not include butter spray) and mix thoroughly. Add water to cake batter consistency.
  3. Fill non-stick sprayed doughnut pan with batter.
  4. Bake for 10-15 minutes until you can stick a toothpick through the donut and it comes out clean.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix more cinnamon and 0 calorie sweetener (about 3 tbsp of each).
  6. Spray doughnuts lightly with 0 calorie butter spray and dip them in the cinnamon/sugar bowl to coat them. Enjoy!
