Ingredients

– 81g apple pie filling
– 8g minute oats
– 15g vanilla whey (Devotion Nutrition brand recommended)
– 9g brown sugar
– 15g light butter (I used Country Crock brand)
– dash cinnamon

*Note: When baking with protein powder, we recommend staying away from pure isolate powder as that does not bake well (turns recipes to a cardboard texture). Whey/Casein blends usually work best for baking — our favorite is Devotion Nutrition brand. Using another brand of protein powder may result in slightly different macros.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Spread apple pie filling in a small circular baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, combine oats, whey and brown sugar.
  4. Sprinkle the oats/whey/brown sugar evenly over the apple pie filling.
  5. Melt butter, then drizzle on top.
  6. Add a few dashes of cinnamon.
  7. Bake for 5-8 minutes.
  8. Enjoy! Add a small scoop of low calorie vanilla ice cream on top for extra yumminess!
