Ingredients

– 24g light butter
– 28g honey
– 1 tsp butter extract
– 40g vanilla whey
– 15g all-purpose flour
– 35g egg whites
– ¼ tsp baking powder
– Stevia/Splenda to taste

*Note: When baking with protein powder, we recommend staying away from pure isolate powder as that does not bake well (turns recipes to a cardboard texture). Whey/Casein blends usually work best for baking — our favorite is Devotion Nutrition brand. Using another brand of protein powder may result in slightly different macros.

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, melt butter in microwave, then stir in honey.
  2. When butter is room temperature (or just slightly warm), mix in all other ingredients until batter is smooth.
  3. Cook pancakes on stovetop over medium-low heat (spray pan with 0 calorie nonstick cooking spray first).
  4. Add toppings of choice such as more honey, fruit, and/or Walden Farms 0 calorie pancake syrup. Enjoy!
