– 990g lean mild Italian turkey sausage (2 packages/10 links)
– 1 beaten egg
– 150g breadcrumbs
– 220g low sugar ketchup
– 20g brown sugar
– 70g soy sauce
Instructions
- Remove casing from sausages and place sausage, breadcrumbs, and egg in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix by hand until everything is consistently combined.
- Form meat into 28 balls, about 1 inch in diameter each.
- Spray a large pan with 0 calorie nonstick spray and brown sausage balls over medium heat for 3-5 minutes, turning every few minutes.
- Place sausage balls in a slow cooker, then add ketchup, brown sugar, and soy sauce on top.
- Cook on high for 4-5 hours, and gently stir a few times as sausage balls are cooking. Enjoy!
