– 90g Sukrin Gold syrup
– 100g vanilla whey
– 15g honey
– 1 tsp almond extract
– 28g chopped almonds
– Stevia/Splenda to taste (I used about 1 tbsp)
– water to consistency
Instructions
Pour syrup, almond extract and honey into large bowl.
Slowly add whey and Stevia/Splenda to taste. It will be really sticky at first but will form into a dough.
Add a few drops of water at a time until dough doesn’t crumble. Be very careful to just add a tiny bit of water at a time until the right consistency is reached, otherwise your bars will be too sticky!
Add almonds to dough, then use your hands to form into 3 bars.
Wrap with saran wrap and refrigerate to store. Enjoy the Honey Almond Protein Bars!
