Measurement Style:

Ingredients

– 58g light butter
– 1 tsp butter extract
– 50g honey
– 1 egg
– 90g unflavored whey (I used Quest unflavored)
– 1 tsp cinnamon
– ¼ tsp baking powder

*Note: When baking with protein powder, we recommend staying away from pure isolate powder as that does not bake well (turns recipes to a cardboard texture). Whey/Casein blends usually work best for baking — our favorite is Devotion Nutrition brand.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Melt butter, then add honey and butter extract; let cool until room temperature.
  3. Whisk in egg.
  4. Slowly stir in all dry ingredients until dough is formed.
  5. Grease a mini cupcake/muffin pan and fill 10 molds with dough.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Enjoy the mini rolls!
